Once again, we’re in the holiday season and everyone is shopping for Christmas gifts for their loved ones. Of course, one of the biggest things during this time of year is toys.  While many of our designs come from an industrial era, we do have a softer spot where we look at popular toys and models from nostalgic periods in our history.

Sure, a clock, in the simplest terms, tells the time. Then again, so does your wristwatch, your smartphone, and even your oven. Owning a clock is about way more than having something that says what time it is. Other than when they were first introduced, we don’t think anyone goes out to buy a clock because they don’t already own another tool to tell them when 5:00 PM rolls around. At Pendulux, one of our biggest inspirations is the military, especially aircrafts used by the U.S armed forces during combat for World War II and throughout the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s. We have a lot of respect for pilots both past and present who fly these marvels and wanted to pay homage to them with a few of our designs.  In fact, our altimeter and yoke clocks replicate components pulled directly from those now retired yet beloved planes.
